From the last few weeks of pregnancy to those sleepy newborn days, these bundles let you capture both chapters, before everything changes again.

All sessions are around 40mins - 1 hour long, and held at a location of your choice. They also include styling guidance and access to my client wardrobe. Your images will be delivered in a private, online gallery.

Birth Sessions

Birth is raw, emotional, messy, beautiful and completely yours. I’m there to quietly document the moments you’re too busy living to notice. The anticipation, the strength, the tears, the first breath, those tiny fingers and the moment you finally meet your baby.

This is your birth, your people and all the little moments, captured honestly so you can look back and remember exactly how it felt.

Alex - newborn session

When should I book my maternity session? +

I usually recommend getting in touch as soon as you know you want a session, and then we'll book for around 30–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully bumping but you’re hopefully still feeling comfortable enough to move around and enjoy yourself. Babies do love ignoring schedules though, so if you’re further along, send me a message anyway and we’ll see what we can do.

What if my kids are absolutely not having it? +

Honestly? Let them be kids. I've seen it all and nothing surprises me these days! They don’t need to sit still, smile at the camera or be on their best behaviour for me. We’ll play, explore, have a cuddle when someone needs one and work with whatever they give us. Some of my favourite photos come from the chaos anyway.

My partner hates photos. Are we doomed? +

Absolutely not and I will die on the hill that the dads secretly love photos just as much as the mums do. Give me five minutes to take the piss out of them and suddenly they’re having a bloody great time. Half the time Dad ends up being my biggest fan.

Can I bring my dog / horse / ferret / other four-legged family member? +

PLEASE DO! Your pets are part of your family too, so if you want them in your photos, I want them there. Dogs, horses, whatever you’ve got... although if you’re bringing something particularly weird, maybe give me a heads up first.

When should I book my newborn session? +

Ideally, get in touch while you’re still pregnant so I can pop your due date in my calendar. Babies aren’t particularly interested in my schedule though, but we'll make it work. There really isn't a perfect time - each week is so different and beautiful, and I shoot anywhere up to three months, so if your babe comes early or late, that's totally fine! And if your baby is already here and you haven’t booked? Send me a message anyway. I’ll always see what I can do.

Do you offer in-home Newborn Sessions? +

Not at this stage. My newborn sessions are held in my studio, which I've created to keep things cosy, calm and relaxed for you and your babe. You can simply turn up and enjoy the experience without also having think about getting the house 'photo-ready'!

What the heck do we wear? +

Think neutral, earthy colours and pieces you feel good in rather than anything too busy or matchy-matchy. Once you’re booked I’ll help you pull everything together, and you’ll also have access to my client wardrobe if you want to borrow something.

Do you provide RAW files? +

Nope. The editing is a huge part of how I turn the photos we take together into the finished work you see across my website and galleries, so I only deliver fully edited images that I’m happy to put my name to. You’ll still receive your images in high resolution, ready to download, print, share and obsess over as much as you like.
